This is a bit of an experiment I did after watching some youtube videos towards the end of my class at my community studio.. obviously I'm totally floored by how well it came out. Glaze is Laguna power turquoise, and the top of the rim of the body I dipped in white gloss. It has this really nice sort of crashing wave look to it that I'm going to try to experiment with in some more pieces.

Super runny but soooo gorgeous.. full credit to one of the instructors at my community studio for recommending this combo to me!

I'm beyond happy with how these came out. This is my first time doing ceramics and it's just such a great time. This isn't everything I've made so far, but these are the ones I like the most. The pictures are in roughly reverse chronological order. Bonus at the end is my first and second cylinder! I took all the pictures on the same ledge in my room because the lighting there is pleasant, and hopefully you can get a good idea of the relative scale from this.
