Possible move to Southampton

Hi!! I have been living and working in Scandinavia (Sweden and Norway) for the last 15+ years (I am 55+) and reviewing a job in Southampton. Visa is not an issue as I will get a sponsor. What’s the living cost there? Salary range between 90 to 120K GBP x yr.

Diving in Elba island in Italy “Isola D’ Elba”.

Back to Elba diving for the third time. Three years ago we found a good diving center in Marciana Marina (Elba Diving) with skilled dive masters and instructors, good well maintained gear if you need to rent.
This year we came back mainly to go to Pianosa Island, one of the best diving locations due to it is a natural reserve and the fishes do not know that you like to eat them and are very curious always around you….
The other purpose of this trip was to let my 17 years old daughter (OW advanced) to experience more dives
After a year on land (last year we dived in Sicily).
Since we came here she got hill with cough and clogged sinus, a week has passed and she starts to get better, still some cough left and nose discharge….
On the beach she can snorkel and dive to a couple of meters with little pain in the sinus. We were thinking to let her try a shallow dive max 10 meters today with an instructor to test her sinus system if she may do a dive before we leave in three days. But after reading in Dan and other sites it is an absolute No Dive !!!! In these conditions, considering that she lost her sense of smell and taste thus this is not a regular cold but some other type of «virus»…..
So we decided to call it the day keep her grounded on the beach. She will have to dive another trip in the future. Anyone has experienced such health conditions?
