Ben just keeps getting worse

I love Ben. He was always my favorite chef and I was so excited he was coming into this season. When he first got involved with Jenna I wasn’t thrilled, but two consenting adults whatever. But this episode…the fact that he is fully engaged in all that love-triangle drama with the young uns just comes off as desperate and ridiculous. He should know better. Not “I have a problem with girls” — PUH-lease.

But even worse to me is that fact that he refuses to work with/listen to Daisy, who KNEW the fish would be a debacle, just really pisses me off. He KNOWS better as a chef! Then to treat Ellie as a sous chef when she’s not…🤬. If Ellie is so great, they could have either a) had Ellie fillet the fish for the guests (like she’d even know how 🙄) or b) left her to finish the cake (since she seems to be the cake queen) and he could have filleted the fish for the guests. He made the whole crew look bad and then was kind of shocked like Daisy didn’t warn him!

C’mon, Ben. Be better!

Did Rachel Zoe really intimate that she would consider having more babies if she got serious with one of the younger guys she's dating? I can't imagine starting over at 54! It's so hard for Boz at 49. Miracles of modern medicine!

I can’t take Ben trying to hang with the 20 somethings when he’s 45.

BEN is FORTY-FIVE years old. It’s too much. Playing these silly “love” games with 20 somethings is a little pathetic. Jenna is TWENTY-TWO. Fine, they are consenting adults. But Ben, really? You used to be my favorite character, but you really have to grow up if you really want the love you seem to constantly be saying you’re looking for. It’s like he can’t handle a real, adult woman.

ADD: AND he totally lost my respect when he teamed up with Ellie. He’s just afraid of her. Bleh.
