Pulled the trigger on some 275/35/18s to go with a full square setup.

Setup will be:
- 18x9.5” +22 on all four corners
- Font Camber: -3ish
- Rear Camber: -2ish

Suspension:
- Lowered on RSR springs, between 0.5”-0.75”

I know someone running the same tire & camber setup with +15 offset and is fine in the front. Also someone running a 18x10.5” +25 with slightly less camber, and has knuckle clearance issues.

Think I should preemptively order some 5mm spacers and extended studs or should I be clear of any knuckle issues?

I’m looking to swap to a different exhaust setup to lower overall sound for track sound limit purposes, and would love some input.

Right now I have DC Sport shorty headers, Motordyne ART HFCs, and Motordyne Shockwave - and have recently started blowing sound.

I’m looking to retain the headers and HFCs, but switch to the Z1 Modular Resonated Y Pipe and Z1 “Race” single exit exhaust, which has an inline resonator as well as the canister muffler. So that would be three added resonators to the system.

My assumption is that the added resonators/mufflers from the Y Pipe and exhaust would quiet the setup down. But the Motordyne Shockwave Helmholtz resonators throw me for a loop. Are they very effective at sound reduction? Or more so just used for ‘tuning’ of sound?

Long story short, will the addition of two inline resonators + canister muffler single exit system be quieter than the current Shockwave system that has a muffler’d X pipe and Helmholtz resonate at each exit point?

Anyone with actual tuning experience able to chime in? I want to go back to stock airboxes on my ‘07 while retaining all of the other mods that were installed for my last UpRev tune. Will just swapping from the Z1 CAI (2.5”) back to stock airboxes/tubing warrant a retune?

Of note, I have an AutoX weekend coming up so the car will be driven hard.

Maybe something that’s not urgent but worth exploring in the near future?
