28 and saving for the surgery. UK based.

Hey all! Always carried more weight than i should. Last summer i lost 10kg (BMI is now around 23.5) but my gyno is now more visible. I saw my GP who said "gosh that is pronounced".

I'm saving up for the surgery. I'm at medical school and i have fibromyalgia so struggling to keep on top of exercise and gym.

Does anyone have any advice on finding a good surgeon? I can't wait to not have to worry about what I'm wearing or pulling my top to cover my gyno. I despise it.

Any advice/motivation or things to consider would be greatly appreciated!

28, always hated my gyno and slowly saving up for the surgery

Hey all! First time poster.

Always carried a little bit of weight. I lost 10kg last summer which has made my gyno way more noticeable. BMI is currently around 24.

I have fibromyalgia and I'm currently at medical school so finding it difficult to find the time to exercise and gym. Trying to keep on top of my diet.

Anyway, I'm working part time and i hope to have the surgery the end of the year. Is there any advice anyone has for me before the surgery? I'm worried about my physical appearance post op (i.e. Scars) but it'll be nothing in comparison.

My whole adult life I've always had to be cautious what I'm wearing to try and hide the gyno. I hate it and despise my body. So very much looking forward to being free!

Any words of wisdom/encouragement would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
