I recently upgraded to a 55” C5 from a 40” Samsung LED from about 2012. While the OLED is magnificent when you feed it 4K BluRays, I also love to go back and watch old YouTube that’s often low-res and sometimes ripped from VHS.
This stuff looks fine on my 2012 but is a blurry mess when stretched to the 4K screen. Is there any way to shrink the image, like integer scaling when playing an old game on a big screen?
Here’s an example video - looks fine on both my OLED IPhone and the old LED TV but pixelated and blurry on the C5, on which I have custom settings from rtings and another site (Filmmaker, Cinematic movement, AI stuff off etc). Running YouTube through the native WebOS app.
