Wanted: Local drone pilot
We moved into our house last fall, and inherited a big underutilized lawn and overgrown garden. I'm starting to think about what to do about that.
I'm a nerd by trade, have an interest in photogrammetry, and the idea of designing the garden and landscaping on my computer appeals to me. Having real world overlays of existing structure on my plans would be neat. To that end, I am looking for a willing pilot capable of shooting some top-down photos (or even just 4k video) of the 200x400 property from a few hundred feet up. Might be 10 minutes flight time.
This is ultimately a hobby for me, and I'm looking to hook up with someone for whom it is, too. Its fine if you've never tried a shot like this before, but might give a knowledgeable crack at it. HOWEVER, gas ain't cheap, hardware requires maintenance, and I would never ask a person to work for free. So I would throw in $50 compensation if that's agreeable.
