Help me PickAnAndroidForMe you're my only hope!

I've had an LG Velvet since 2020 gone through 3 replacements, namely broken screens, and now I've essentially fried it. Likely a combination macing out the memory, constantly charging it and never shutting it down, and multiple drops. It's gotten to the point it has to be constantly charged and cant go below 96% or it glitches endlessly sometimes it even loses all power within minutes.

Anyway, LG no longer exists so getting the latest is obviously out of the question.

My issue with getting a new phone is two fold. Firstly, I am a creature of habit and getting used to new things is exhausting to the point I'd rather not. The second is I refuse to have a phone without expandable memory.

This means I'm limited to the familiar and the old. I was able to find a few phones that would work in the U.S. and with my carrier (T-mobile). Before the LG I had several Samsung Galaxies so it seemed like the best choice specifically the Galaxy A35. Obviously since I'm here it hasn't been a great experience.

So I've come here in the hope for some salvation. Is there anything on the market that is essentially an LG Velvet or should I just try to find some on ebay that are renewed?

My biggest issues have been the layout, the app drawer, the endless bloatware, the limited customizability, and the size. It's big-- more wide and thicker than I've been accustomed to and shorter than I'd like. Also the Velvets user interface is so much easier. I've had to jump through massive hoops to mimic it on the galaxy and it's not quite there which has exhausted me.

Is there any hope? Or do I just find some renewed Velvets on ebay? 😬
