I am an Indian National Mathematics Awardee i.e among the top 35 students from India selected for IMO training camp. And now I'm pursuing computer science in college and my prof gave me some heavy calculus work given my love for maths. I absolutely hate it and whenever I talk about maths now it somehow comes to calculus and my imposter syndrome activates as I hate ittt
I am not liking my first week hereee like at allll. So, my joining was this Monday and 1st day we just went to submit docs, the second day to collect our laptops and since then it's all remote in this pg that again sucksss.. Orientation - Boring as hell literally slept through most of it.. n the training.. hahaha.. I have studied all that in college alreadyyy n the 2nd day.. it was technically just 1 hr and the rest was taking attendance - almost 2-2.5 hrs coz the server was down. I feel bored n left out n restricted as all my friends are going to their offices, doing some actual things or just chilling out there - not lying alone in a room - actually experiencing how an office looks like.. getting all those goodies n freebies and all.. Before the start of the internship I was still like, even if it pays less I'll try to observe if I want to join it FT but now m like nooo neverrr.. especially being so restricted about my expenses n all coz they apparently expect interns to manage their air tickets, stay n other expenses within this menial stipend.
So, I'll be joining as an AEH intern this coming Monday. What should I expect and not expect from my first week?
