Weird computer issue - Black screen / Fans getting loud
For the better part of this year so far I have been experieicng the same issues, my computer screens would go black, sound would continue playing and the fans on my PC would get extremely loud. The only way to get the computer responsive again is to hard reset it. No matter how hard I try it is impossible to replicate this issue, it happens randomly when I'm gaming, sometimes when I'm watching YouTube other times it happens right after my computer has booted up and before I've even loaded a web page. I've run stress tests galore and nothing to my knowledge can trigger this event to happen intentionally.
I uninstalled and reinstalled my graphic drivers utilizing DDU.
I did a fresh windows install.
I replaced the GPU with my friends GPU that I know isn't faulty.
None of the above worked, I have exhausted my event viewer logs, I have asked friends, "professionals" and even ChatGPT and none of these fixes worked. The professional helping me recommended I switch my GPU to a different PCI-E slot, this I think has identified the culprit as my computer has not crashed in 3 days but the fans have still gotten loud randomly like they did before but the screens aren't going black in this new PCI-E slot.
So I'm left with different questions now, are the fans running full speed and loud an issue? I've downloaded Fan Control and at least to my limited understanding of the software it didn't change how fast they're running. If it is a problem how do I fix it from happening?
My system if it's relevant:
PSU - 1000 GW Standard
GPU - 5080
Mobo - ASRocks Z890
CPU - Intel Ultra 9 285k
