Hey, everyone! In this video I talk about how to be staging effectively in Overwatch (mostly focusing on mobile characters) :)

KEY TAKEAWAYS

What is Staging

Staging = taking good position before actual fight

The Double Jump Strategy

1. Setup (Using your mobility first time)

- Use your mobility to reach short range sightline - a position close to the enemy, but protected by cover. This could be a high ground/ ledge or a corner near their backline.
- Chase strong position → Dive convenient targets later
- Reduce the time rotating in the open space, avoid taking poke dmg → have full resources for the engage

2. Engage (Using your mobility second time)

- Make sure to have your resources + Scout the targe —> use your mobility to attack (if needed)

HORIZONTAL and VERTICAL Cover

Most players understand vertical cover (walls, pillars), But using Horizontal Cover is crucial as any diver.

1. Definition: Horizontal cover =  structures like high-ground ledges, balconies

2. The Advantage

- If you play under those → the enemy must physically overextend and look down if they wanna  see you OR you can use HG to make it easy to drop on the enemy for you.
- Horizontal cover allows get close to the enemy without getting poked, additionally you can recharge your cds/ hp, so you will be able to engage later

PATIENCE

1. Resources, avoiding poke
- Rotate around the map using short, safe paths to avoid taking damage, do not dive in right away
- Use cover to wait for your abilities and hp to restore before committing to a dive

2. Getting info
- Staging gives you the time to listen for sound cues or visually confirm that your Team is in position to follow up.
- Check where your team is once you done setup and ready to engage

How to hit more shots as Kiriko

Hey, everyone! In this video, I discuss how your positioning can improve your aim as Kiriko, hope you enjoy it!

Video link: https://youtu.be/dou93UQCuuY

KEY TAKEAWAYS

1. Taking Angles

- When you are on offangle -> enemy might not be aware of you → higher chance to hit shots
- If you are on an off-angle and missing shots, you are still forcing people to turn around at you, which helps in controlling space
- Try to anticipate anyone who may contest the same offangle as you do → prepare your position, resources and escape route

2. Range
- Stop taking long range angle → make sure to maintain short/ midrange offangles instead
- Play closer to cover to minimize amount of threats you deal with

3. Resources:

- Use suzu and TP to enable your aggressive plays on short range offangles. If enemy pushes you → can use suzu/ tp depending on situation
- It is typically fine to use suzu on yourself, when you are looking to enable your own aggression on the angle (make sure there is no one else who need it more tho. For example: your teammate using ULT, etc)

How to actually carry on Tank in Overwatch [Tanking fundamentals]

Hey, everyone! In this video I talk about Tanking fundamentals in Overwatch! Hope you enjoy it!

Video link: https://youtu.be/wsTQClLsGyw

KEY TAKEAWAYS

MAP CONTROL

1. Deal with active angles

- Take proactive position → Baits enemy to use resources, forces attention
- Pressure active (Dangerous) angles →  enemy will have to give space → enemy can’t push your team
- Sometimes you can peel, when you can’t establish your proactive pressure or someone is about to die

2. Take power positions

Power posisitions =  Positions, which allow you to have more options (angles) to attack objective/ cart

- Take key positions → your team can setup and take space → higher quality pressure
- Take key positions, which allows your support and dps to have more options

KILLZONE

1. General ideas

- Main thing: Absorb enemy pressure in killzone → Higher chance for your team to get a kill
- Killzone Gives better direction, where to take the fight exactly (Power positions are important → killzone to be precise with position + timing)

2. How to utilize killzone

A. Keep enemy stuck in killzone
- use your resources to effectively trade resources with enemy team → keep draining their resources → higher chance to get a kill for your team

B. Bait enemy in the killzone
- hold effective angles (depends on your tank KIT), which baits an enemy to push you

C. Timing
- Enemy enters in killzone → you can do pressure
- Sometimes you can pressure outside of the killzone (Next videos topic)

KEY TAKEAWAYS

1. Map control

- Do not just play behind your tank → take 90-degree off-angles
- Enable teammates taking aggressive offangles (especially dps)
- Make sure to sync your pressure with the rest of your team

2. Resources specifics

-Use your shift (teleport) to take deeper angles → apply pressure and divert enemy attention
-Your Chain allows you to feel protected on the angle if you or your teammates get pushed OR you can look for aggressive plays to get kills
-The Aura: Do not stress staying with your entire group, enable active angles instead → change your positioning based on situation
