I'm so dissapointed with Jax in the final episode

I can say that I find Jax's character relatable, especially in his father issues and some other parts. After watching the Ribbit's room scene I thought that Jax is scared that he would end up just like his father, that just because his parent is a bad person he now inherits all these traits and can harm people around him. Now, if you take this scene out of context of Jax's abstraction, it's literally the perfect foundation for a character arc where Jax would have understood that what happened in the past doesn't define him as a person in his whole life and that he's an independent human being who can change and try to become better.

BUT NO

By the time this scene plays, we already know that Jax is cooked. He has abstracted, there's no way back, and so redemption is impossible for him. And then there's nearly 40 minutes of Jax's torture. Episode tries to justify it by showing Jax's psychopathic actions such as ignoring Ribbit or gaslighting her, but... I've found it somewhat out of character? I don't know how to describe it, but all these moments felt too rushed, like Jax before was impulsive but friendly and NOT sadistic, but the next moment he's doing that shit to people. And all of that is just to make Jax's torture justifiable.

Idk it all feels just too fucking weird for me. Ribbit abstracted just to make Jax irredeemable, although there was almost zero reasons for her to abstract. Damn she's hardly a character and more just a plot device.

Episode wastes so much time on Jax and in the end it's all for fucking nothing. It's just a torture of a character that makes me really uncomfortable, maybe because I've found Jax relatable and hoped that he could be redeemed. But naw.

And then in the end there's just Caine getting fucking resurrected. And it happens right after psychological thriller about Jax which makes it, for me, feel like additional mockery of the Jax's fate.

I've been watching this series since the 2023 and the pilot and I really liked it. But after I've watched the leaked finale I felt... Dissapointed. Now I can say that I definitely don't care about this show anymore.
