Hello all, i’m a newer forever dm looking to fill the void of free time by releasing the mists of barovia upon you.
This will be a long term weekly campaign. Days and times are open to player availability though PM sessions are what will work easiest for me aside from weekends.

The end goal here is to find some new friends that may want to stick around for future campaigns. All I ask is your friendly to others, interact and get involved, communicate if you’re experiencing any issues (I’m an open book, don’t take much to heart, the only way I can help you is if you help me.) and most importantly let’s not lose to our infamous raid boss : Mr. Schedule. I respect your time I hope you do the same for your fellow players and myself.

As shown above I plan to run curse of strahd following the baseline of the written books with my own flavoring and additions to it. It’s preferred as a player you haven’t played or read the book/watched content. To avoid spoilers and help engage the environment. If you do know tid bits just let me know ahead of time. I’ll let you know if it’ll cause issues.

There will be spell limits like banishment or things involving other planes. Some class limitations may be required I’ll be open to your ideas we can discuss your character ideas! I’ll do my best to back your creative ideas in game, however there will be limits per the setting of the campaign.
Disclaimer: You’ll be in a barren environment, don’t expect magic items to be abundant nor potions etc. doesn’t mean they aren’t there though

Trigger warnings: this is a campaign meant for mature players. 21+ is to hope we find that balance of immersive fun but the campaign content can be uncomfortable and though I won’t explicitly describe a certain theme the likely hood of these situations being implied or addressed will exist. It’s a gothic horror campaign. If a vampire typically has it in media, you’ll expect to find a similar theme here. Alongside this, I tend to use psychological horror as well.

New and experienced players welcome so long as you’re friendly and we all are having fun. I don’t mind occasionally using an experienced player to get others involved if that’s something you think you can provide I would welcome you with open arms.
