I miss the old high pitched echo sound from a well struck driver before manufactures started using carbon in driver heads. The sound from newer drivers is kinda dull.

My old Cobra Bio Cell from 2014 sounded great and I miss the sound and feel. Which year was the last generation of drivers before they went carbon and started making that dull thwack sound at impact?

Edit: for clarification, my current driver is a Titleist TSi2. No issues with it. Just looking to pickup an older driver for fun and l’m trying to find a release generation that still had that old high-pitch sound. No brand preference.
