This might sound dumb but I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around symlinks? And how exactly they work. Like I get what it does but the tutorials I’ve been watching to show how to do it. From my understanding it allows me to store my media on an external hard drive and have FS42 pull from it. I have an external hard drive and I guess I just don’t know how to connect it. Any thought?
Would a Raspberry Pi 5 4GB suffice for my build? I’m specifically looking at the CanaKit to get started. And then transfer the Pi to an actual cable box in the future. Please give me your suggestions before I pull the trigger.
Im new to the hobby and currently designing my own unit. I would love to see your FS42 rig. If anyone is interested in posting theirs here and talking a little bit about it I would love to see what everyone’s got going on. Maybe drop some assembly tips or specs you recommend.
