Fiio K11 Coaxial output control
Hello, I’m considering buying the K11 or K11 r2r for my headphones. However, I also have Edifier S1000MKii speakers. For convenience, I would like to connect them via the coaxial output on the K11. I don’t want to use the analog connection because the speakers will still convert the analog signal back to digital anyway.
So my question is: how is switching between such output devices implemented on the K11? Can I switch between headphones and the coaxial output so that the speakers and headphones do not play audio at the same time? Unfortunately, this is not clear from the manual and the FAQ. It only describes switching between headphones and line out.
Also, an additional question. Has anyone measured how much power the K11 consumes? I live in a country where electricity is expensive, and from the manuals it seems that the K11 r2r has an automatic standby mode, which could be a big plus if it significantly reduces power consumption.
