Thanks for checking it out if you do! Good luck 😉😉😉🤫🤫🤫🤫
So, I've owned the FiiO K11 R2R for what feels like almost a year now. It has been working perfectly up until this week, where no matter what I'm playing, whether it be from Tidal, YouTube, etc, the audio will be present for the first second of play and then will drop down to an almost inaudible volume. I can tell there is still a signal because if I turn my speakers up to max volume, the audio is there but very quiet.
I have been troubleshooting for the last few days, but to no avail. I've tried everything I can think of, from trying different sample rates, different buffer sizes, different USB cables, different USB ports, uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, etc. It has become very frustrating. It also seems to be isolated to LO as my headphones work fine with the DAC.
Does anyone have any other suggestions I could try before I run this DAC over with my car?
For reference, I'm on Windows 11 with an ASUS TUF GAMING B650-E WiFi motherboard. My K11 R2R is connected via LO to a pair of PreSonus Eris 4.5 Nearfield Monitor speakers.
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
The sub-flagship FiiO M25 DAP had part of its specifications revealed yesterday (May 17). In addition, several images of the new Digital Audio Player (DAP) were published on social media. Check out all the details below.
Hi everyone, I recently got a FiiO DM15 R2R which sounds great. However I noticed that a faint beeping sound comes out of the reader every 5 or so seconds. I returned it because I thought maybe I got unlucky. I got a new one and i notice it again. With my headphones on it's no problem but if my music is coming out of a speaker and I'm not playing really loud music I can hear this little beep sound every few seconds.
Has anyone experienced this? I'm not sure if I should refund it or not. I love the design and sound but this issue annoys me.
I have pre ordered FiiO Snowsky Disc and EH11 headphones from LINSOUL on March, but now it is already May they have not yet processed my order as FiiO Disc and EH11 still unavailable. When will they are available? Anyone else facing this issue?
Before anyone says "that's how they're meant to sound" or "just EQ it" — hear me out.
I've been producing music on and off for 20+ years. I know what the kick in Prodigy - Their Law (for example) should sound like. I know how the sub layers in Their Law should feel. LOUD in the mix.
Setup: PC (USB) → FiiO K11 → DT150 250ohm via 6.35mm, high gain. Filter 6
Mids and highs sound fantastic. Clean, detailed, great separation. But the bass? The kicks have no thump. The sub layers barely register. Songs I know inside out feel like they're missing their entire low end, like it's been cut off.
It's not the headphones — I played a deep bass boosted tests on YouTube and the sub frequencies came through fine, warm and thick with the correct rumble I expect from these headphones. (Edit: As mentioned below, the bass comes through fine via the motherboard output).
Also worth noting — the K11's line out into my Edifier R1855DB + T5 sub sounds great. Thick, warm, punchy bass. The DAC is clearly doing its job. It's specifically the headphone amp that seems to fall short with the DT150s.
I've tried every filter, every gain setting, checked Windows audio settings (full range speakers was unticked which I've now fixed), turned off all enhancements. Nothing brings the bass to where it should be.
I get that the K11 is "neutral" and "analytical" — but neutral should mean accurate reproduction of what's in the recording, not "missing the bottom end." E.g Liam Howlett didn't mix Fat of the Land expecting people to EQ the bass back in.
Anyone else experienced this with the K11 and high impedance cans? Genuinely curious whether this is a known limitation or whether people have just accepted it as normal.
This is my old Fiio M3K and Pico Power amp. It still works and gives my Sundaras a nice smooth warm bottom end.
Hi, I recently bought Fiio Snowsky Echo Mini and I wanted to play my music from sd card. I have some podcasts and music on MicroSd card (Sandisk Uktra, no cheap knockoff) and i dont know why my fiio isnt playing from the sd card

Holy God. I couldn’t ask for more… I mean I could, but I’m loving this as well.
Hi everyone,
I’m facing a specific sample rate issue with local MQA playback on my FiiO M21.
The Issue:
Previously, playing local MQA files via UAPP worked perfectly. UAPP would show "Direct 88.2kHz" and the M21’s Android Notification Bar would correctly change to match that sample rate.
Now, the notification bar strictly stays locked at 44.1kHz during MQA playback. This happens on both 3.5mm and 4.4mm outputs.
Key Points:
Inside UAPP, it still shows "Direct 88.2kHz" and the physical LED glows Purple (MQA), but the system status bar refuses to scale up.
Standard Hi-Res FLAC files work perfectly. When I play a native 24-bit/96kHz FLAC file, the notification bar immediately switches to "96kHz".
I strictly play offline local files from the SD card with Wi-Fi turned off.
Troubleshooting Done:
Full Factory Reset (Did not fix it).
Downgraded full firmware package from v1.0.8 back to v1.0.7 via Local Upgrade (Did not fix it).
Since standard 24/96 FLAC files switch sample rates perfectly, the issue is strictly isolated to MQA.
Has anyone seen this MQA sample rate lock on the M21? Is this a system bug or a hardware decoder defect? Thanks!
Once my Fiio FT7s come in I believe I am done for 2026.
I want to know if my FiiO m21 battery drains normally. I charge it using the 20-85 charging method. Now it's 84% to 56% from 3pm to 5pm listening to DSD 64 128 256 files with balance output at low gain volume around 34 for 3 and a half hours, is that normal? When I sleep at night, I use D.mode to listen to music. The next day, it went from 42% to 15% from 3:15pm to 5:15pm I listen to flac file at low gain volume34 and the file quality was 16/44.1 16/48 24/44.1 24/48 24/96 in shuffle mode with UAPP Is 27% drain normal because their website says it can last 12.5 hr with balance output
Outras otimizações do sistema.
I bought a Snowsky Disc 2-3 days ago, and the battery life doesn't seem great. I updated to version V1.95—could the drain be related to that? I charged it with battery optimization turned on, used it for about an hour or so, and left it in sleep mode. 5-6 hours later, it was already down to 48%, even with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth completely off. Is anyone else experiencing this same issue? Are there any extra settings I should tweak or something else I should do?
Which music app should I use?
Build in FiiO music app or UAPP or Power Amp?
Any suggestions and thought?
Which app made less battery consume
Hi, I use the ka11 with an S23u, playing on qobuz and uapp. recently playing flacs with uapp, couple tracks "fade in" (missing first ½ second or so). There's a setting in the app for dac warm up time which I have set to zero. If I use my Samsung dongle there is no delay or "fade in". I'd use it exclusively except it doesn't power my dt770s. I can't find any info on this. Maybe dac at end of life? Please help
