Recently I saw that Fiio is releasing the DP11 CD player but I can't find anywhere when it will be released. Some say that it's late September early October, but we're in October and no retailers seem to have it available or even for pre-order.
Anyone knows anything else about this, that I haven't been able to find?
Every day there's someone who has just found the perfect way of analysing Polar data, and has come up with the best all in one, magical app that will surely cure cancer simply by using your Polar watch.
Guess what? It won't. As someone who has been in software development, research, and data science, it baffles me that someone can even believe a tiny bit that it is possible to wake up in the morning and using the magical powers of AI, build an app that analyses health data.
"But AI has a lot of knowledge and surely knows what it is doing". F no. You ask AI to build an app, and that's what it does. AI doesn't give a single f about noise, or trends, or data analysis.
"But I ask AI to behave like a software developer". Yes, and if my grandmother had 2 wheels she would be a bicycle. F....... me. That's not how it works. You need to understand what's coming out of that AI nonsense you've built. Without proper training, it is quite obvious that you won't.
Anyway, mods, please consider limiting the amount of new freaking magical unicorn AI slop apps/websites/whatever. It's ruining this sub, and it's taking the focus from what really matters, which is Polar stuff.
