Looking forward to update 6 so I can hopefully play again

I tried playing for the first time since 5.5 dropped yesterday, played without issue, had a blast. Today I opened it, and instant crash. Tried verifying files, uninstalling and reinstalling, redownloading the pak folder and re-verifying, and a few other fixes others have tried. No luck, no change. Not sure what else to do but wait for 6.0 and hope it fixes it somehow.

For anyone installing a hitch…

You don’t need to trim nearly as much from your underbody cover and heat shield as the instructions and install videos say. As long as you buy one with the the receiver under the tube, you should be able to get away with minimal trimming. I didn’t lose any anchor points doing mine.

I managed to only cut a small slot from the underbody cover to fit around the receiver, and only about 3-4” off the heat shield. Not enough that I lost the bolt holes.

I did the 11” cut off of the heat shield as per the instructions, and then decided I didn’t like it not being covered. I cut again and mounted the last section and used exhaust repair tape to seal the gap. The shield is thin aluminum and very easy to shape as needed.

Posting this as I had trouble finding much Info on this.

Edited to add: I used a Curt MFG 13462. A 13466 will also work, it just comes with extra hardware for mounting a hybrid canister. I have a non-hybrid 2026 select S for anyone following suit. I know the curt hitches had some issues in the past but I luckily didn’t have any on mine.

What is Active noise cancellation?

I’ve been trying to find something online but haven’t had much luck on finding anything that says what it actually is. I have a 2026 Pacifica select and it is by far the loudest vehicle I have ever owned. My 2015 T&C, which I already though was loud, seemed like quiet room after driving this thing. After 40-50 minutes on the road I can barely stand the noise anymore. I tried flipping through my radio setting to see if there was something I needed to turn on and I can’t find anything.

I’m just wondering if that’s what they’re calling turning up the radio at highway speed, like the old cars used to? Or is it like a noise cancelling headphone? If it’s the latter, I feel like they are using this as a reason to install less sound insulation in the car. Maybe mine isnt working. I ended up buying AirPod pros to cancel out the road noise which helped a bit.

Any help or feedback is appreciated.
