I see that Asheville will finally have a June Pride festival. Calling it Stonewall Fest is deceiving but their AVL Stonewall Fest website and FB page shows a June Pride property honoring history of the uprising at Stonewall. Traditional Prides are originally a form of protest. They are saying three days of fun. They have some big sponsors. That other Sept event will no doubt be a drag and almost all transgender performers like last year. Young transgender women and drag queens are running that Sept group now according to their save the dolls ad. Glad there will be two different version of festivals from two totally different organizations.
