I wanted to get a 2011 style pistol for EDC. I wanted to move to an SAO pistol and love the idea of a grip safety so I could carry it without worry. I also am very spoiled by how little maintenance is required for the striker-fired handguns I own. Does the P211 require less or as much maintenance as other 1911s and if not, could anyone point me in the direction of a more easy going 1911?
