USPS isn't showing received
So I've been doing eBay for a long long time and I've learned to always make sure the packages are scanned in right then. With yesterday Monday being a big shipping day after the weekend I had about 30 items I took in and were scanned in. Today one of the customers msg me asking when I was going to drop off the package. I check the tracking and it shows it was never scanned in.
So I look at the other tracking from yesterday and they all show the same no scanned. Knowing they were I just headed down there and talked to the supervisor. She looked and said yes they received them and they are on their way. I said eBay has to show these scanned in .. she said something about the tracking not "batching" right or missing a batching time. I've never heard of this. She says the tracking will update when it hits the next destination.
Now I'm more than worried. I am not worried about the items showing, I'm worried about the tracking not scanning in obviously. I know better than to dump off my packages. I have a receipt for drop off ... But I'm going to get clobbered for missed shipping date / initial scan.
I will lose my top seller. Any advice?
