My 15 year old dancer was selected for a year-round pre-pro program in CA with classes that take place during school day hours. That means in-person high school is out.
We are moving next month from a different area of CA to be near the ballet school. We literally just got the acceptance a few days ago and my head is spinning.
We just secured an apartment yesterday. But what do we do about high school? Has anyone moved within CA and was able to stay with their current school district? Are the online public charter schools I found while Googling our options legit?
I’m going to call the current school on Monday, obviously, to ask about our options with them (there are any). But if not, I would really appreciate any advice about next steps. Thank you!
