I just realized that irl by being an all black ship in the middle of the Caribbean, the Black Pearl is actually very impractical, since it would absorb a lot of heat. The decks would probably be un-walkable, specially shoeless. Below deck, the mix of the heat and lack barely any of airflow would probably be fatal. Has anyone else ever thought about this?

Edit: Guys I know it’s a magical ship! I just thought it’d be interesting to wonder about if it wasn’t. I also don’t really know much about ships, so it’d be interesting if someone can provide a counter argument as to why it wouldn’t be as hot as I think.
