Hi everyone, i have noticed this strange phenomenon with wifi connectivity on linux, the laptop uses AMD thus comes with Mediatek WiFi Card. I have noticed this with some wifis connect others dont but on windows all works well. The Baicel from safaricom connects and disconnects randomly so i keep shifting from 2.4 to 5Ghz whenever that happens though inconveniencing but am good with that . problem comes with some wifi like in some BnBs, hotels just wont connect and am forced to port through my phone OTG from the same WiFi. Are there settings i can adjust to get it working like on windows ... i have dual boot. This doesnt happen with Intel WiFi cards but has happened to atleast two AMD laptops i have worked with. This doesnt happen with Starlink, nor the airtel 5G thing. But connects with fairly most WiFis with no issues. Ive only experienced it twice. Ill appreciate any advise. Thanks

After upgrading from 25.10 to 26.04 it just couldn't load games ..I've resorted to the poorly optimized dual booted win 11.

On Linux games load but gets stuck on the opening page and you can hear navigation tones and background music but no image movement...

I used heroic and steam games to play RL and CSGO2 respectively

All updates set ... What should I do

I did give same prompt same document to 1660ti running Gemma 4 e2b q4 coz of the small vram and another to and igpu running Gemma 4 e4b q8 prefill rate before token generation was like 4-5 times faster with the 890m igpu then token generation 1660ti was like 20t/s then 890m 9t/s both using lmstudio both on kde 26.04 lts

Note the parity in the model size and quantization both running on 130,000 full tokens because the work was huge .. so is amd really slow according to these many benchmarks am seeing?
