I’ve checked khata/plot details and location on maps, but before moving ahead:
- What documents should I verify myself? (Khata, khasra, registry, mutation, etc.)
- How do I confirm exact boundaries/layout and road access?
- How to check if land is residential/agricultural or has any disputes/loans?
- Should I hire a local property lawyer before token payment?
- Any red flags brokers usually hide?
Would really appreciate a checklist from people who’ve bought land in UP/India recently.
