Boss health scaling

My friend and I are playing Elden Ring with the Seamless Co-op mod.

I host the world and have Boss Health Scaling set to 500% in my config file. My friend has Boss Health Scaling set to 100% in his config.

When my friend joins my world, which value is actually used for boss HP scaling?

Does the host’s setting override everyone else’s (500%)?

Are the values somehow combined (600% or even 1000%)?

Or do both players need identical config files for scaling to work correctly?

Has anyone tested this and can confirm how the mod handles different scaling settings between host and clients?
