ER Convergence: what do you think of this mod?

Hi everyone! ^^

I've finished several runs in ER and wanted to try something new

I'd like a total overhaul mod, something that makes it almost like a second blind run and found the Convergence Mod

Are there any better mods for a total overhaul?

I like the Convergence so far, but it's quite close to the original experience: what I'd like to find is something like the DS3 Archthrones

Does anyone know where this vagabond/ ds3 knight set came from?

I found the pic on the nexus, but unfortunately it was just someone's image with no explanation besides the name.

Reforged - how to run as a complete noob

Never used mods on the regular game before, and I want to give Reforged a shot. Do I have to do anything like anti-cheat disabler to prevent complications with the regular game (bans, standing), or do I just run the mod as described in the readme from Reforged?

I know it uses separate save file types, is that enough to prevent problems?

I just want to keep Reforged play separate from my regular game play. Thanks.

Deflecting Hardtear or Other Deflect mods?

I am glad that Fromsoft added the deflecting hardtear into the game because it means that there is a well designed and perhaps balanced version of the Sekiro deflect now in Elden Ring, but I guess that made me wonder: do the mods that make the hardtear permanent make the other deflect mods obsolete? What is the difference? I haven't played the DLC yet and wanted to do so with mods, so I was wondering what the best deflect mod would be. Is it generally the consensus view that the deflecting hardtear mechanic is better than modded deflect mechanics? Does it have the same window of frames as something like Sekiro? Can you deflect from any angle, or is it just in front like a shield? Does it work on projectiles like Sekiro, or are there any mods at all that have a deflect exactly like Sekiro? Just curious what you guys think with your experiences.

By my count there are a few promising deflect mods that people like, including Deflect Me Not, Sekiro Deflect and Dodge, and "Deflection" (which looked the best but is under review for some reason). Are any of these better than just a permanent deflect tear, and if so, in what way?

Any one know when Convergence 2.3 will be released?

Looks like lots of changes and the main one is adjusting player power as people get to later game. Looks like a lot of big things incoming from next patch, any idea when it will be released?

EDIT - no one has any idea when 2.3 is out, its been quite some time apparently so hopefully one of the devs wouldnt mind chiming in...

Can anyone point me in the right direction for removing the enemy damage bonus from new game plus?

Basically i'd like to finally get into new game plus after beating the game several times from a fresh start over the years now. But the only thing holding me back is the fact that enemies do even more damage each journey, and I already die enough due to having CantGetGuditis and chronic Skill Issue Syndrome

Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to remove the boss damage increase from NG+, and maybe how to give everything more hp? Ideally i'd like everything to have something like 20-30% more HP each run without being able to 1 shot me like in normal NG+ once it starts getting on up there past NG+4 etc

I already know how to use Smithbox a bit, but I can learn to use something else like DS Map Studio or whatever if it's not possible/easy to do on Smithbox. I just have no clue where to look or where to start at

Elden Ring Vins - Godrick

Hey

I’m playing Elden Ring on Vins and having a blast—or rather, I was having a blast, because Godrick is totally wiping the floor with me. At one point in the second phase, he gives me a debuff that drops my HP to zero in a matter of seconds. I get that it’s supposed to be a challenge, but this is a bit over the top—a debuff that literally kills you in a second. I’ve tried everything. I’ve switched weapons, upgraded them, used different Ashes of War, tried oils to boost damage, and tried to charge up my ultimate, but his attacks often hit me by a hair’s breadth. I even tried using summons because if I have them, I might as well give it a shot. I don’t know whether to keep going and level up a bit more or just keep attacking him despite the low damage.

If any of you have played this, please throw out some advice because I’m at a loss.

Looking for a mod developer for a tourney

Hey everybody,

I am looking for a mod developer for a tourney I am going to host. Will obviously pay for the job. Tried Nexus Mods, but sadly noone there seems to respond to private messages. Which I get. Hit me up, if you are in the market for one :)

Short form is: Need a way to have one or more people observe the game, while other play in seamless coop mode.

Help modding regulation.bin

I'm pretty new to modding this game and a problem i keep running into is mods where it says all that is needed for installation is replace the regulation.bin file. (Still disabling eac of course.) When i replace the file it says the save is corrupted and can't get past the title screen. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there an Elden ring mod that’s like honest merchant?

I’ve been trying to download various mods to help build my PvP characters but nothing seems to work on the steam deck. I’ve tried everything but it either kicks me out of the game constantly or it straight up doesn’t work.

Convergence and Reforged?

Hey everyone, probably a stupid question but I just want to be sure.

As far as I know/heard, both Convergence and Reforged have their own launcher and savefiles. Does this mean I could have multiple runs on both mods at the same time and it will be fine?

I am playing through Convergence right now but have heard some stuff about Reforged from a friend and want to check it out real quick. Can I just install Reforged and make a new character with that mod without it interfering or breaking anything from the run on the Convergence mod?

Thanks in advance! :]

I've tried the overhaul mod Reforged, I may be missing the boat on it

I am not an Elden Ring new comer, I have over 3000 playtime hours into Elden Ring itself so I know the game inside and out. I've tried Convergence and liked it though you do start getting pretty powerful mid-game and later. Great mod though.

I tried Reforged and it seems the difficult level is raised artifically, made harder just for misery sakes. I don't think any Elden Ring mods need to be harder than the base game if the creators want the mod to be popular. Thats my opinion currently HOWEVER I may be missing the boat on the mod Reforged. I may not have given enough time to it. My impression as of right now is it is a lot harder than base vanilla game bit is that impression actually right? Wondering if I didnt give it enough of a chance. What are you guys thoughts on Reforged and does it get better as time goes by?

How to enable lock-on target for the Merciless Chariot? Forgot how I did it before

Hi everyone,

I want to make the Merciless Chariot lock-onable so I can get the target dot on it. I managed to do this before in my game, but I completely forgot the exact steps and parameters I changed.

Which files or specific parameters do I need to modify to enable the lock-on point?

Thanks for the help!
