Hi! My dog and I live in New York City and there's signs all around whenever there's been rat poison used. On our walk today, we stopped for about 20 minutes in a fenced in area. There was no sign, no rat traps, nothing. She chewed on some sticks and rocks and ran around for a bit. Then, some random guy came up and said "just to let you know they use rat poison there. a dog died a couple days ago." We left immediately and again, I didn't see anything that even alluded to that.

Is this something I need to go to the vet for? She's acting totally normal and this guy could've just been fucking with us but I don't know. I'm super conflicted.
