When do I become more concerned for a urinary blockage

Hi friends, I need some advice on when to start worrying more than I already have. This morning my male cat (7) stopped fully urinating, and when he did it was full of blood. He was also scooting his butt across the floor a lot. I took him in today at noon, his bladder was too small to see crystals or anything so they went ahead to do the antibiotic injection just in case. Buuut the vet intern missed because he’s a wiggly boy and he got a shot in his muscle poor thing. So they had to give him kitty Benadryl on top of that in case he has an allergic reaction to that being in his muscle or wherever they accidentally shot him in (I clearly don’t know what I’m talking about and am very anxious about the whole thing so I apologize for my terrible grammar and little knowledge)
So now he can’t pee or poop and his hip is sore. He also had his anal glands checked because they were inflamed and he was butt scooting all morning on the carpet. One was full so they cleaned that bad boy out.
So they gave us oral antibiotics and gabapentin which he got when after eating some new prescription wet food and dry food for urinary care. He has kept trying to pee all afternoon with sometimes getting a little bit with mostly watery blood the first time around then keeps trying and not much comes out at all, then he took a nice gabapentin induced nap.
Now it’s 11pm and he is now up trying to pee again. The first time he tried to go it was a 2 second stream not long and still bloody. He tried another 2-3 times with little luck mostly some dribbles. He’s back to laying down isn’t looking too terribly uncomfy but we gave him another 1/4 tab of gabapentin an hour or so ago so he should be feeling relaxed.
He’s now had his full dose of 1/2 tab for the evening as we only gave him a small amount earlier since he had been given allergy meds as well.

At what point do I become more concerned for blockage? He still has energy and personality, and appetite despite being uncomfortable but I’m so anxious for him. He hasn’t been throwing up either. He has no history of urinary issues or much for health issues in general. Pretty healthy 7yr old cat besides a kitty cold he got almost 1.5yrs ago.
Mostly hoping you guys can give me some peace of mind or tell me to call into work tomorrow to look after him🫡
