Why would someone ghost after acting interested?
I'm 20F and he's 25M.
We met through an app and hung out. We got along really well, had great conversations, and ended up sleeping together.
Afterward, he continued texting me regularly and was usually the one initiating. Based on how he was acting, I thought he was interested in seeing me again.
A few days ago I asked if he wanted to hang out again and he said yes. We ended up making tentative plans to see each other again tomorrow.
Then out of nowhere he stopped responding. Shortly after, I realized he had blocked me on social media and on the app where we met.
What I'm struggling to understand is why someone would agree to see me again, continue reaching out, and generally act interested if they were planning to ghost. If he wasn't feeling it, why not just say that?
Part of me wants to text his number and ask what's going on because I genuinely feel blindsided, but if he blocked me everywhere else I'm assuming he probably blocked my number too.
I know nobody can know for sure, but based on this, what do you think is going on?
