I’m curious if anyone else has been in a similar scenario and how it turned out.
Had persistent AFIB that caused Heart Failure. 1st ablation for AFIB. Then had persistent flutter. Had a second ablation that fixed the flutter. Now have AFiB for a few hours a week but horrible PVCs and sometimes SVTs. Now waiting for my third ablation in a couple weeks for the PVCs.
The PVCs have gotten worse over the last two months and very symptomatic. Extreme breathlessness, fatigue.
Heart failure went from 20% when first diagnosed to 55% before the first ablation (used amiodarone to control AFIB for several months). After first ablation, stopped amiodarone and went into flutter that worsened heart failure back to 40% EF.
Hoping the PVCs are fixed with this next ablation so I can get back to a normal life.
