What should I try after Bathys and Px8 S2 didn’t fully work for me?

I recently posted my longer impressions about Focal Bathys, Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2 and my current search for premium wireless headphones (My first post, btw)

This post is more direct: I’m looking for advice on what to try next.
During this month I tried quite a few headphones:

  • Sony WH-1000XM6
  • Sony WH-1000XM5
  • Bose QC Ultra 2
  • Bowers & Wilkins Px8 first gen
  • Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3
  • Sennheiser Momentum 4
  • Focal Bathys
  • Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2

Most of them I tried in local shops, except Momentum 4 and others from attached post, and I still haven’t figured out what the best option is for me.

So here I am asking for help.

My usual music is from streaming services like Spotify. Mostly pop, rock, rap, indie, some EDM and alternative. I’m not doing critical listening most of the time. Music is usually the background for work, walking or just daily life, but still I love music and don’t wanna lose crucial parts of compositions .

What I want from headphones:

  • comfortable fit, no hotspot issues please
  • good microphone quality for calls and voice messages
  • multipoint would be a big plus
  • engaging sound, not necessarily the most analytical sound
  • I can probably trade some detail for better comfort and more enjoyable tuning

Right now I’m looking at the new Sony WH-1000X The ColleXion, but I’m not sure.
