Wedding wear 1908 New York City- question

Hello, I hope this is okay to post here; if not, please let me know.

I am writing about one pair of my ancestors. They got married in Brooklyn in a Roman Catholic church in 1908. My questions are about their clothing for the wedding:

What would her dress look like? How much did it cost? Did she and her sisters make it or could she have bought it at a store? (She was a teacher, and 32 years old at the time of the marriage, if that helps.)

What did his suit look like? Was it a regular every day suit or specially acquired (bought or borrowed) for the wedding? (He was a clerk in Manhattan and was 29 at the time of the marriage.)

Thank you!!

Job advice

I'm 54, and have worked in education since I graduated from college. I will be able to retire at age 60. I'm looking for something else to do part time, then maybe full time once I retire. I look through jobs on LinkedIn, and I am not qualified for any of them. I've literally never worked an office job in my entire life, my bachelor's degree is in education, and I don't have a master's degree. The only things I remotely qualify for are entry level customer service type jobs, and I am not interested in doing that.

I'm an excellent writer and proofreader; I am particularly great at proofreading and keeping the original writer's voice intact. I'd be interested in something like this, preferably working from home. I am not interested in remote tutoring or anything like that; after what will be close to forty years of working in education when I retire, I really want to do something else.

Does anyone have any ideas or guidance for me? I've worked in my current district for more than 25 years, so I haven't even done a resume recently, and I'm sure trends with those have changed dramatically, along with everything else.
