I inherited a couple old Swiss knives from my grandparents and after sharpening them they’re unreal.Balance feels perfect, steel holds an edge way longer than the newer set i bought a while back. Makes me regret spending money on flashy knife sets when older stuff seems to just be better made. I looked into buying another vintage one as a backup but couldnt view all the pictures properly so its hard to judge condition.

Anyone here stick with older knives instead of buying new?
