Morning all - I’m considering leasing an IX, and I’m in Canada.
Vehicle MSRP is $120k CAD. 2026 xDrive60 with almost every package on it, with a lower price metallic paint, and excess wear and tear package.
They’re offering me a 4% discount plus a couple freebies (l2 charger and winter mats), and have wiped off $3800 freight and PDI, as well as the $599 admin fee.
I’ve had now two dealerships confirm in Canada that margin is 7%.
Vehicle is showing a 44% residual set by BMW after a three year lease, and interest rate is 0%, meaning payments after tax are about $1850 CAD for a 3 year lease.
That’s $89k USD MSRP, $39.1K USD residual, and $1340 USD per month for 3 years.
How is that?

Edit: looks like residual values in the states are higher. Interesting. Showing at least 50% on most leases.
