BMW IX 2024 Lease Transfer $455 Month - Dallas Tx

Amazing, heavily optioned 2024 BMW iX xDrive50 (Dark Graphite Metallic over perforated/ventilated Oyster interior)

$2,200 cash incentive to the buyer.

Location: Dallas, TX (Local DFW, Austin, Houston, OKC preferred, but absolutely open to out-of-state if you arrange the shipping logistics).

Amazing luxury electric car. I ordered a new vehicle and do not need two at this time.

July Payment made - This means you get a full month of driving completely free, assuming responsibility for only the final 8 payments on the contract while getting the vehicle for all 9 remaining months.

9 months total remain, can easily be extended 2 to 6 months with BMW giving you 11 to 15 months with a great car.
Residual ~50,500

Incentive options

You can choose how to apply the $2,200 incentive based on your driving needs:

Option 1: Low Payment

  • Effective monthly payment: $455 (Base contract is $787.37)
  • The Math: (8 payments × $787.37 = $6,298.96 contract cost) − $2,200 cash incentive = $4,098.96 net cost ÷ 9 months remaining.
  • Current remaining miles: 4,405 (~500 miles/month)
  • Maturity mileage: 22,505

Option 2: More miles

  • Effective monthly payment: $676
  • The Math:  use $1,000 of the incentive to buy you 4,000 extra miles from BMW FS, and you keep the remaining $1,200 in cash.
  • Current remaining miles: 8,108 (~901 miles/month)
  • Maturity mileage: 26,208

Key Features on this Build:

  • Driving Assistant Professional package (Includes the highly sought-after Hands-Free Motorway Assistant)
  • Sky Lounge Panoramic Glass Roof
  • Climate-Controlled Seats (Ventilated AC & Heated)
  • Harman/Kardon Surround Sound System
  • Shadow-Line Exterior Trim & 4-Zone Automatic Climate Control

Vehicle Condition: The vehicle is in excellent condition, garage-kept, and completely clean inside and out. It has been incredibly well cared for. The car is officially parked and will not be driven anymore, meaning your available monthly mileage buffer will only improve while the transfer processes.

Lease Extension Bonus: If 9 months feels too short, BMW Financial Services easily allows you to extend this lease month-to-month for an additional 2 to 6 months at the end of the term, letting you ride this ultra-low rate even longer.

Very eager to move this vehicle. DM asap.

Unable to delete guest profile

Before my son added his device to my car so we could listen to his music via Bluetooth, my iX45 had no problems recognizing me as the primary user whether I had the car fob or digital key. However, now my car won’t recognize me as the primary user and has a guest profile as active instead. I now always have to pick my profile before I drive and enter my PIN. I am unable to delete the guest profile when I go to the “Manage Profile ID” section. His phone is no longer connected as well. Any suggestions on how to remove the guest profile? Thank you!

Has anyone received the 07/2026 Remote Software Upgrade for iDrive 8.5 yet?

If you have, I’d love to hear what you’ve noticed.

Did BMW provide any release notes or changelog? Have you found any improvements, bug fixes, or new features?

If you can share a screenshot of the update notes, that would be awesome.

Thanks in advance!

x50 unavailable options per year

I’m looking at used iX’s, up to 2025 due to prices.

What I’ve gathered is that the 2024 model year air suspension/rear wheel steer package “Dynamic Handling Package” was removed, then added again for 2025+.

iDrive 8.5 which includes an update for DAPP to work up to 85 mph instead of 8.0’s up to 45 mph, was available starting with the 2024 model year.

So if I wanted both air suspension and iDrive 8.5, it would have to be a 2025+ model year? Unfortunately the builder was taken down and I never used it before so I’m riding out on old forum discussions.

I would go for a 2025 or even 2026 but used prices are much higher for those compared to 2022-2024 models.

My dream spec right now is xDrive50 with DAPP, Premium, Dynamic Handling, and Radiant Heat. M60’s are out of price range otherwise that would be a much simpler search since they all received air suspension.

Coming from a 2020 X5 with air suspension so feel like going to regular springs would be a let down with how much of the suspension is shared

Edit: Just test drove a 2024 xDrive50 (no air suspension). Honestly felt smooth and nice. The bumps were noticeable but compared to the G05 air suspension I’d still feel those same bumps just slightly less. I am prioritizing iDrive8.5 now

Ownership experience

I am currently looking to buy a used iX and plan to keep it 5-8 years. I only drive about 6k miles per year.

I would love to hear what kinds of issues people have had while under warranty and also out of warranty? What did your repair cost or what would it have cost without warranty?

I want to hear from the people with no issues too!

Jiggly ride on springs

Made an active decision to avoid air as I'm planning to keep the iX 50 for 5-10 years and 100k miles.

Sadly I'm really disappointed with the ride quality, floaty yes, but so twitchy and fiddly on UK single carriage way.

Tyre pressures are OK.

Everything else is great.

Don't think there's anything I can do but write it down to experience?

Thoughts please.

iX battery reliability after being parked long term?

I am looking at a 2024 iX with only 5k miles on it.

From what I can tell from the Carfax it got all 5k miles in the first year and has not driven more than a few miles since Nov of 23.

Should I be concerned about the battery after being left idle for so long?

My 2023 BMW iX XDrive50i shakes a LOT when I get up to 55mph+

Just bought used, 1 owner 20k miles. I LOVE the power and everything else about this car!

However, it starts to shake when it gets up to 55mph. It feels like aggressive lane warning feedback, but I turned all warnings off. I initially thought it was related to the speed limit because the car is butter smooth under 40mph

  • No crash history
  • No signs of stress
  • All haptics and warnings turned off

Is this normal for these cars? Any ideas?

Why does the IX45 front seat charger charge much slower than those in the back seat? The rear ones are superfast.

I find myself plugging the phone into the rear ones most of the time.

It's such an odd approach

Roadtrip through Europe

Hey all.

First time poster here. I’ll be receiving my 02 2023 xdrive50 in less than a week and I have a cross Europe trip planned. Sadly I didn’t realise that since it’s not from march and on, it doesn’t get udrive 8.5. That in turn should make the routeplanning worse when having to use different superchargers along the way. Is there any truth to that or am I seeing ghosts here?
Mind you, I’m coming from a TMYP which is literally foolproof roadtrip wise.
Apart from that, I found a nice one with more or less all options, and I’m really looking forward to a MUCH better driving experience.

So, am I just seeing ghost or did I make a bad decision?

Will the iX enter a renaissance with all the online hate shifting towards the iX5?

I see there’s the usual online hate for BMW’s latest. Personally as someone who owned two X5’s, including a G05, and now an iX, I quite like it. It seems to marry two of my favourite cars quite well.

Now that the iX no longer has to bear the burden of being BMW’s flagship electric SUV, will it reach new levels of coolness?

Early Spring

As of July 1, BMW is still promising a software update to enable Supercharger use in “early Spring 2026.” I didn’t realize until now that they’re referring to Spring in the Southern Hemisphere.

Post iX era thoughts?

Now that the BMW iX5 and iX3 have dropped, what are iX owners thinking for the next move in a post iX world?

Looking at the iX5, there are definitely iX carryovers, but definitely some aspects that will be missed (like the open front concept).

BMW IX Charging Interrupted

The title says it all. I have a 2024 BMW IX. Everything was working until about 2 months ago. I now regularly return to the car after plugging in at home to find it has only partially charged and I have a non-specific charging interrupted error.

I took the car to the dealership where they could not duplicate the problem and diagnostics come back normal. I had dedicated home charging outlets installed for my IX and my wife’s I4. My wife’s car is not having the issue, but will at least automatically begin charging again when there is an interruption. I have tried swapping the BMW charging cords and using the other outlet and it doesn’t make a difference.

I welcome any suggestions.

About to pull the trigger on a 23 iX M60 CPO... yay or nay?

Hey all! Strong possibility I pick up a 2023 iX M60 tomorrow from a CPO BMW dealer. Black Sapphire/Chestnut, ~20k miles/super clean local Car Fax. Executive Package, B&W Diamond Surround, 22" Bronze wheels with the bronze accent package. Really hoping to secure financing through BMW at 1.99%. (I also saw some incentive offer for deferred payments for first 3 months??)

I am shooting for negotiated selling price <$60k which to me would feel like a win considering the ~$118k sticker price.

I guess the point of this post is for you all to:

  1. Either convince me you love the car and this is a good move, or do I continue shopping around? I test drove a Lucid Air and it had multiple defects/I did not love the aluminum roof spec I test drove and have serious concerns about future servicing given limited resources for a small brand. I don't want a Tesla.

  2. What should I look at tomorrow when I go to see the car? Aside from visually inspecting the car and asking for a report of its battery state of health, etc.?

Any comments would be helpful, I'm fairly stressed as this is the 2nd biggest purchase I've ever done (aside from my house).

Thanks!

Shady third party dealer

I am in the market for a CPO or used M60. I was seriously considering one listed in Portland at a Chrysler dealer. The salesman had sent me a full walkaround video and multiple pictures and told me the car was pristine. I went as far as making an offer and filling out their finance form and then he told me his manager informed him the moonroof is cracked. He suggested (in a text) that I buy the car and then have my insurance cover the moonroof. Pretty incredible to suggest insurance fraud in writing.

Just want to give a heads up in case anyone else is in the market and they don’t disclose the issue in their listing. Perhaps they only disclosed it to me because I told them I would be getting an independent vehicle inspection.
