I may switch back to an ICE vehicle. I have a ChargePoint charger installed in my garage. What happens if that goes dormant for 2-3 years? Is it safe to just leave as is?

I get bored of my vehicles after about a year and I like to try new things. My wife has our family car which we own outright and I have more suburban weekend car and I drive to my train station during the week which is nearby. I only put around 4,000 miles on it per year. What is the most economical way to switch out to a different car every 18-24 months? I was reading buying something 3 years used would be a good point in a flatter depreciation curve. Also currently have an EV and think I would like to keep it that way.
I have 12months left on my 2024 electric Gv70 prestige. It is a great car but it’s just not big enough for my family. I’m taller and neither of my kids can fit behind me in the backseat. The car market value versus buyout is massively underwater by 15-20k. Remaining payments for 12months total around $9k. Will Genesis offer me any pull ahead programs to end the lease early at some point? Thinking GV80 if I stayed with Genesis or maybe even kia EV9.
Also wondering if I just showed up to dealer now would they do anything for me to get into an EV9 (I.e. cover some of the remaining lease payments etc). I realize the best move financially is to just ride out the lease but would like to consider options.
