I have them both in my tongue and my lips. I initially thought it was a canker sore because it looked a lot like it. However, half of it is in the inner lip and half on the outer and it seems like canker sores are generally inside the mouth. I also have it on my tongue though and from what I read it’s very rare to get cold sores on the tongue.

Would appreciate any help
