Calories too low

I used this app just over a year ago and really enjoyed it. I was lighter back then by around 7kg-8kg and was still trying to loose weight then maintain (which I did). I’m now trying to start again after using MFP for the first 6 months of the year and not really getting anywhere (I’ve not been as strict as I should, I can admit that).

However, when I put my metrics in(86.6kg, 5ft 7inch, Female), and choose the standard rate of loss and that I’m doing cardio and strength training, it’s setting my calories at 1300. That’s honestly too low for me and I know it.

The TDEE calculator says my cut should be between 1700-2000 of if I switch between Light and Moderate exercise which is kind of truthful for me.

Has anyone else had this problem? I feel like last year it did the same and I manually fixed it to be around 1600-1800 on a cut for me (worked but looking back even then I think it was still too short).

I really liked the interface and the ability to shift calories over the different days but at this rate I think I’d be best to save my money and keep on with MFP.
