Growing up, we got these incredible biscuits called cat head biscuits. My mother bought them at a wholesale fruit and vegetable store in their frozen food section. They were called cathead because they were massive. I think the store was somewhere near Elmwood Cemetery? It’s been so long I can’t remember exactly where it was or the name of the place- I wish I could provide more details! Does anyone remember this store? I’d love to be able to find them again, though it may not still be around - I haven’t been back to Birmingham in several years but am visiting soon and I would love to pick them up if the place still exists.
