Concerned if my tongue split can be fixed
So when I got my tongue split done everything went fine and I didn't notice much was wrong with it. I did all my recommended care but when it came time to remove my stitches I noticed it looked kind of crooked?
Then the middle of one side started to bulge out like the inner tongue meat was trying to escape and it looked gnarly. I was assured it would close up.
Well it's healed and it looks like my right tongue is more scar tissue than anything and it is NOTICEABLE. It's so scarred and crooked it won't stretch the same length as my other tongue and it's so tight and uncomfortable it's starting to effect the way I eat, talk, etc.
I did all my recommended stretches and all that but thanks to the bulging it healed badly. Bad bad. And it's so crooked. I am devastated. I wanted this for so long and now I feel like I need to hide it because it looks just so bad. :( I don't know what to do or what the etiquette is. I've tried talking to who did it and I don't want to start shit or put anyone on blast I'm just upset and wanted to see if anyone ever had a similar issue and how they got it fixed?
