Frustrated fresh grad: Waiting 1.5 hours for my Foundever Final Interview right now. Is this normal or did they ghost me?
Hey guys, I really need some advice, a reality check, or just some reassurance because I am incredibly anxious right now.
I’m a fresh graduate and Foundever is my main target right now because I’m planning to relocate to Cebu. Yesterday, I applied, passed the assessment, and did my initial interview. The atmosphere was actually really good—there were two of us, and I was the only one who passed. I went home feeling so confident and told myself I could do this.
They scheduled me for my Final Interview today at 5:00 PM. Fast forward to right now: I have been sitting here waiting for an hour and a half, and nothing.
Honestly, I’m on edge and losing my confidence. This isn't my first time applying; I’ve applied to multiple BPOs already and it feels like a pattern. Every BPO I’ve tried so far tells me I have a final interview, only for them to seemingly bail at the last minute. I am so desperate for a job right now, and because Foundever is one of my top choices, this delay is really hurting my morale.
I know it’s a bad look for a company to make interviewees wait like this, but I'm too shy to approach them. I don't even know who to contact—should I send an email to HR or try messaging their recruitment page on Facebook?
- Is it normal for Foundever to be this late for final interviews?
- Am I just overreacting because I'm desperate, or is this a sign they changed their mind?
- If this falls through, do you guys have any recommendations for other good BPO companies in Cebu that are friendly to fresh grads?
