Up top is the photo of the vent, and the crack line that the landlord was talking about that they covered up, and I feel like I’m not being believed, and I don’t know what to do.

Am I in the wrong? I 21F live with my husband 25M in a shared almost duplex but we are renting the bottom basement, it’s a pretty big two bedroom and we moved in almost 3 months ago. Two weeks ago I decided to get A cat, well two weeks after the cat arrived I started noticing allergies not bad manageable, then one night they got bad like really bad, I felt like it wasn’t just a cat allergy I felt like it was something more, so I ended looking around the house and ended up finding mold in one of the vents in the bathroom, I told my husband who told the landlord lady. And this is where it gets a bit messy, she came down and in front of me scrubbed the air vent that had mold with bleach right in front of me, while she was cleaning she admitted to me that she knew this bathroom got like this, and that she knows that water tends to travel to the ceilings, she even pointed out to me a crack in the ceiling that was covered up before we got there, and told me that there was mold on the cellar before. I paused because my husband allowed her to come down while I was the only one home alone, so I have no proof that she said this to me. They are now saying that my cat is making them get allergies and that her daughter is getting allergies and because of that we have to get rid of the cat, I have been trying to communicate to my husband that it can’t be the cat making us this sick it has to be the mold in the vents, now my husband won’t listen to me and us listening to the landlord, who is refusing to bring out a technician to check the vents. I have been fighting with my husband because I don’t want to get rid of my cat, I paid for her she is under my name, and I’m the one that takes care of her. I told him that it’s unfair for me to have to get rid of my cat if we have no proof that it’s not the vents. I feel frustrated trying to prove what she told me. And everytime I try to talk to my husband he says that he’s only looking at the facts, in the fact show that it’s the cat. And now I I don’t know what to do because I don’t want to get rid of my cat and I know there is mold in that bathroom but the landlord won’t admit it to my husband.

Edit: My cat has never been upstairs to their part of the house and has never met her daughter.
