Hey all, just wanted to share quick update as some people might be on this situation. I am from banned country, no freaking change on anything on my pending I485 and all. But wife got approved for I765 last Friday, she is from non banned (75 country list) applying as a dependent.
Is there a chance at this point that they might still not send the card or smth?

Is this the new reality and end of day 1 cpt, at least during this administration?

For background, I have STEM OPT expiring soon, from 39 banned country, pending I485, approved I140, thinking of day 1 CPT phd because don't want to lose job.
But its better to be jobless rather than getting denied I485, is my opinion, if that post is accurate..
Anybody was able to transfer their sevis to day 1 cpt recently that are from banned countries(not 75, actual 39) ?
