So, I am posting on behalf of my cousin from Pakistan, who was working with Hunger Station as food delivery guy. And it is really a tough job in the scorching sun Saudi Arabia. He worked there for 2 years. And at the end of the tenure according to him, his Kafeel applied kharooj which causes to seize his bank account like 1700 Riyals, and he was also not paid last 3-month salary which is equal to 7500 Riyals. Which is a significant amount for immigrant Pakistani worker. And of course, his right to be paid for the time and effort he worked for, is denied. He is young and not as much literate to reach out legal justice or information.

And hearing this injustice, I am trying to help him, as it feels personal to me. I am trusting what he said, and I am not aware of the rules and regulations in the kafala system and what kind of legal rights a worker has under the contract.

After kharooj has been applied he had to leave the country, so did he. He was afraid to involve legally which might cause him indefinite time there. So my question here is, do Kafeel has right to seize the funds in one's bank account after he has applied kharooj on workers work permit? And what are legal options which can be tried to force the kafeel to pay the remaining salary while being out of the country?

Any help will be highly appreciated.
