Work made me come to Conshohocken for a useless training day and I’ve been waiting for two hours now. Ubers are $86 now that it’s rush hour.

My favorite Christmas album of all time is the Vince Guaraldi Trio soundtrack to A Charlie Brown Christmas. I’ve listened to it thousands of times and know it deep in my soul.
Last year I bought the repressing and was super excited and it just sounded so flat to me. No warmth or range, it felt like someone recorded it off of a laptop speaker playing a YouTube video.
I just got a copy from 1988 and it sounds so much better. It sounds rich and alive like the musicians are in my living room. Truly remarkable how much difference there is.
I love supporting labels releasing new physical media but sometimes the quality is so poor I don’t want to risk it unless people on here can vouch.
I got this player today and the door won’t close when I put a tape in. There is a little white piece to the right of the tape head that blocks the tape from nesting in the player. Does anyone know if I’m doing something wrong before I return it?
I saw one just like this on eBay 6 months ago and I lost the auction. I then dreamed about this case as I couldn’t find any info about it or any others for sale. I set up a google alert and one was listed a few weeks ago and I snagged it.
