Autobleem G64X incoming : DualShock rumble, fixes and more

Edit : Added an overlay option ! it looks great.

I’ve been working a lot lately on a new release of that good old AutoBleem. The new build is coming sooner than you might think.

Here’s what’s coming inside the internal emulator :

• DualShock rumble support (You read that right)

• Improved DualShock and analog controller support

• More reliable vibration when launching games

• Home/Guide button support for compatible controllers

• Diablo sound fix (finally)

• T’ai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger CD-ROM timing fix

• ARM RunFast enabled for better performance

• Need for Speed III alternative GPU flip timing fix

• GPU NEON mask comparison fix

• GPU NEON VRAM fill mask fix

And there’s still more being worked on. Thing is finicky as hell to work with .

Keep in mind that I’m only working on PSC'S internal PCSX-ReARMed emulator. I’m not changing RetroArch or its cores.

I personally use KMFD’s RetroArch setup and cores and they work great, but they won’t be bundled with this release.

Let's get ready to rumble !!!

Introducing... PAPwiiUM!!

Edit : now released https://github.com/Genesis64X/Genesis-Plus-G64X_PAPwiiUM

Hello!

This is my first release of PAPwiiUM.

To install it, make a backup of the original boot.dol inside apps/genplus-gx, then replace it with the boot.dol included in this release.

Place paprium.bin and the paprium music folder inside genplus/roms on your Wii SD card.

For now, this build uses WAV files only. MP3 support has been disabled because it caused more glitches, longer loading times, and higher RAM usage.

Known issues:

Some audio may briefly skip during transitions, such as when selecting a character or entering a boss room. It doesn't affect gameplay.

Saving seems to be working properly so far, but I'm still testing it.

There is also a graphical glitch that can cause the Wii to freeze on a black screen with red flashing when powering off while a game is running. This should hopefully be fixed in a future build.

For now, the workaround is to quit the game using the HOME button and exit through the Genesis Plus GX menu. If you always exit this way, the freeze shouldn't happen. It doesn't seem to affect normal gameplay, but it's definitely annoying.

You can also share this on other forums, since I'm not really active on any of them. Feel free to test it and let me know if you find anything!

Hello fellow Wii fans!

I’m almost done putting together a new Genesis Plus GX boot.dol that should let you play Paprium on the Wii.

I’m still having a few issues with the sound, but if everything goes well, I’m hoping to have it ready sometime this weekend.

I’ve been working on this for the past few weeks because I couldn’t find any existing way to get Paprium running properly on our beloved 240p Wiis, so I figured I’d try to make it happen myself.

I’m also curious if there’s actually any interest in this. I don’t usually release the stuff I work on publicly, so I’d love to know if this is something people here would want to use.
