Being over 30 and trying to make new friends is hard. I moved to eastern Iowa from Des Moines about four years ago and the only people I know over here are my wife’s family and my coworkers. I’m a 35 year old male and strictly just looking to make friends. Nothing more than that as I’m already married. I live in Marengo, but work in Cedar Rapids. I’m into a wide variety of things like video games (have an Xbox, PS5, and Switch) to nerding out to films to loving pretty much all sports (I am a Cyclone fan, which isn’t always easy on this side of the state 😬) I also love going to concerts or just staying home and reading comic books. Maybe somebody does have this and I’ve missed it in my searching. This seems like it could be a great add on. Just like any music app, take some of your favorites, put them in a playlist and hit shuffle.

Sometimes I don’t have anything in particular I want to watch, but just a vibe I’d like on.

Think of Peacock. They have comedy shows like The Office, Parks and Rec, Brooklyn 99, 30 Rock, Community, Superstore, St. Denis Medical, and more.

Or if I’m in the mood for 90s cartoons that I grew up on that Disney+ has like X-Men, Ducktales, Gargoyles, Goof Troop, Talespin, Recess, and more.

It would be great to pick a bunch of shows like that. Have them in a playlist and then shuffle it for it to put on a random episode. It would kind of remind me of getting home after school and watching whatever happened to be on then. Except now I’d have more control over what was in the playlist and not have commercials.
