Combined Skilling Outfit

There are many skilling outfits in Runescape, resulting in either a cluttered bank or cyclic restoration from diango only to delete again.

It would be really awesome to combine your skilling/elite skilling outfits into one singular outfit that can be transformed into any added outfit via a right click menu. Have a configuration to set it to a certain skill on banking and suddenly all skill outfits take up a grand total of 5 slots.

This could be a reward for reaching a level threshold such as maxing or require a certain level in a skill to unlock the ability to add the outfit.

Not a massively needed thing, but it would preserve decisions in which skilling outfit to use while shaving down on a large source of bank clutter.

Edit for clarity: I do not want all outfits to be active at the same time. I want to combine the outfits into a single outfit that can be toggled between the different outfits when worn. Having multiple active at once would be overpowered, and my intent is only to reduce clutter in the bank, not add power creep to skills.

Combination Runecrafting Rework

Combination runes are in high demand due to the myriad of types of runes required for a magic setup, but runecrafting, which should be the best source of them, has barely any support for combination runes. All combination runes are unlocked by level 23 and then there is not a single additional perk unlocked for them in the entire remaining 87 levels of runecrafting. They are slow and awkward to craft, and there is literally no reason to ever look at crafting them again past level 23.

So let's rework their crafting. Right now they require essence, the opposing rune and the opposing talisman to craft. There is a chance to fail at crafting them per essence unless a binding necklace is worn. This design limits the number of runes per run to the number of essence you can carry, and there is no multiplier. So at 105 Runecrafting with the 70 slot pouch plus abyssal titan and infinity runecrafting outfit you can carry 127 essence alongside a talisman and stack of runes. That means an average craft will yield a maximum of around 160 runes depending on boosts. Which is a pitifully low amount.

My proposal is to remove essence as the limiter of how many runes can be crafted at one time, and instead base it on runecrafting level. You get a base amount of runes you can convert starting at level 25 equivalent to the maximum amount of essence you can hold (35) at that level that can be crafted at one time at the cost of one of each rune and the opposing talisman of the altar. This will yield the amount of runes unlocked at your level and consume one talisman. This changes the maximum amount of runes crafted per inventory at level 25 to 910 for the cost of 26 talismans and 910 of each elemental rune. Your yield per run goes up but so does your cost to craft.

Then we add a leveling benefit that increases the number of runes you can craft at once at the cost of consuming more runes per craft at a 1:1 ratio. So say for example at level 50 you can craft 50 runes per talisman costing 50 of each elemental rune

I would also like to add combination catalytic runes using the same crafting system with pairings based on level and theme.

Magic has 16 core runes in it's arsenal, and the largest rune pouch only holds 4. This means that in order to get all runes into pouches you need a minimum of 4 pouches. Needing 4 pouches in and of itself isn't a problem in and of itself, however condensing these into fewer slots would be most welcome.

I don't want to devalue the existing rune pouches, so I propose a bandolier, a classical piece of equipment that meshes perfectly with runescapes medevial themes, that can hold up to 4 rune pouches. For those unacquainted, a bandolier is a strap across the chest that holds ammunition.

This would mostly retain demand for grasping rune pouches, as you would still need many of them to fill the bandolier. However from a preset standpoint, you wouldn't need to fuss about different pouch combinations or move runes between pouches for various tasks.

To unlock this bandolier would require 110 crafting and 110 runecrafting, and would utilize masterwork magic and masterwork ranged materials in it's creation as well as a decent amount of magical thread. It would fill a similar niche as the blessed flask, as a long grind for a utility item that saves inventory space. I'm sure there are some other dated pieces of content that can be worked into this process, and I would not be opposed to a magic level requirement, but seeing the existing requirements I've suggested, further gating seems unnecessary.

Functionally the bandolier would have the same options as the necromancy nexus, with a fill option to add all runes to pouches that have the runes stored within and retrieve which will allow you to detach a rune pouch or all rune pouches to remove stored runes.

The biggest downside of this would be making combination runes obsolete, but seeing as that system hasn't received a meaningful update since it's inception, I think it's ok to let the vestigial system die.

If you have any constructive feedback to add or specific concerns to address, please share them here. I am open to workshopping the concept.
